About Us

Steeped in local history and set in the picturesque village of Pitcairngreen on the outskirts of Perth, the Pitcairngreen Inn, built as a coaching inn well over two hundred years ago, is still serving customers to this day.

Today, Pitcairngreen Inn is a small country pub offering more than your average country fayre. Our snug and lounge offers a daily menu of local, fresh and seasonal food using some of Perthshire finest produce, reputed to be the best in the UK. We use all local suppliers and this includes our real ales and extensive range of malts.

Our team comprises of Sam, Liz, Frazer, Keeley and Hayley in the bar, as well as Calum our head chef and supporting sous chef Chucky in the kitchen.

Sam and Calum have been running the pub since April 2016, both having worked at the pub for a few years previously.

Our bar is a friendly and welcoming place and our wide selection of beers, lagers, wines & spirits is always served with a smile.

Come along and enjoy a pint or two in our public bar, or relax in the snug by the real open fire during the colder months.

Bar Dining

We serve freshly prepared food using only the best locally sourced produce wherever possible.  Due to all our food being made to order please be prepared to wait at busy times.  A service charge is not included; however if you have enjoyed your meal and the service please feel free to leave a wee tip at the bar.

Our head chef Calum is a local man and is passionate about local seasonal produce and putting the Pitcairngreen Inn on the Perthshire culinary map with the help of his equally passionate sous chef, Chucky!

Takeaway menu

To order a takeaway, you can either come in to order your food at the bar or give us a phone and pre order food to come and collect at an agreed upon time when placing the order. A reminder that our food is all freshly cooked so if you come in to order there will be a waiting time, (longer if busy!) but you will be told a rough waiting time when ordering. We will be taking pre orders over the phone in our opening hours. We won't be taking pre orders via facebook or email. Please give us a phone on 01738 583022.

Chucky is Calum's wingman in the kitchen. He started with us in May 2015 and has gone from strength to strength, his cheesecakes are very tasty so be sure to leave room for pudding when you visit us!

Private Events & Functions

We have two function rooms for hire at the Pitcairngreen Inn, our larger room holds up to 60 guests with stage space available for DJ's or bands to play on. We have a resident DJ on request. This space is perfect for Birthday parties (over 18s only), Anniversary parties, weddings and funeral wakes.

Our smaller function room is perfect for private dining, baby showers, christenings or intimate weddings and is suitable for up to 20 guests.

We are able to cater for your event and would be happy to meet and discuss your plans.  Please give Sam a call on 01738 583 022 or email us and we'll get back in touch.

Our large function room is £50 to hire, our small function room is £30, however if you order a buffet with us over the cost of the room fee, we won't charge for the room. A deposit will be taken (£50 for big room, £30 for small) when booking the room of your choice.
